Overview

Digital Video is a module that teaches the fundamentals of video framing and production. It focuses on creating a narrative and communicating messages/themes effectively through the medium of film.

Continuous Assessment

There is no exam but there are video group projects. There were three group projects all with different themes and objectives. We are encouraged at all steps to be as creative as we can.

We were required to write blogs as a form of report and catalogue of work done on these projects. Mine is here and the rest of the class kept blogs also.

Insiders Hints and Tips

This subjects success is based on the group you are in. It would be best to group up with someone with a bit of digital video experience or camera experience. Make sure you stick to your assigned roles and give everyone a chance to do the work. Group Projects wont be difficult if you all keep to your roles and responsibilities.
